Up to 90% of bottled water comes from ground water that has to be trucked to factories so it can be put into bottles. There is real concern amongst environmentalist about the sustainability of extracting that ground water. Especially as we enter a period of climate change and potential extended droughts. Environmentally people need to learn that we must drink our water from the tap and not from bottled water and if you are in one of the few areas where there is concern about tap water quality, a far cheaper alternative is to simply filter your water.
